John and TJ Osborne have released a new duet with Cody Johnson called 'Born and Raised Hell.' The song serves as a nostalgic look at growing up and maintaining a connection to one's hometown.
The track is featured on Watertown, the fifth studio album from Brothers Osborne. The record launched on October 23 and contains 11 songs. The project returns the brothers to their roots in Deale, Maryland, drawing inspiration from their upbringing and local experiences.
This is not the first time the three artists have shared a stage or a recording. Brothers Osborne appeared on Johnson's album Banks of the Trinity earlier this year for the song 'Fool Proof.' The new collaboration marks a reunion for the group.
John Osborne wrote the lyrics for 'Born and Raised Hell' alongside Lee Miller and Kendell Marvel. The song focuses on memories and the sense of pride that remains after moving away from a childhood home. A music video for the track was directed by Nick Swift. It was filmed in Nashville and features a vintage aesthetic, showing the artists performing in a garage during scenes of youthful adventures.
The song is scheduled to impact country radio on November 2. Listeners can access the audio and the official video starting today.
