Omaha Weather: Halloween Dry, November Wet
Light showers will miss Saturday night, but a heavy system arrives Monday to end the mild temperatures.

Omaha residents can head out for trick-or-treating on Saturday night without major weather disruptions. While some drizzle is possible in the early to mid-evening hours, the primary rain arrives late, mainly after 9 or 10 p.m. Scattered showers and isolated storms are possible during that overnight window, but heavy rain is not expected to interfere with the evening festivities.
The weather pattern shifts on Monday and Tuesday as an upper-level disturbance combines with a low-pressure system. This combination will bring impactful weather to the area to kick off early November. Heavy rain is expected, and the system has the potential to produce severe weather. Meteorologists note that no severe weather outlook is currently in effect for the area, though they are monitoring the situation closely.
Temperatures will drop sharply once the system moves through. The region will see a decline from the mid to upper 60s during Monday to the mid to upper 50s for the rest of the early to middle parts of next week. Conditions will also dry out following the passage of the heavy rain.
Forecasters advise the public to stay weather aware during the Monday and Tuesday timeframe. They plan to issue updates as the system approaches and more data becomes available.
