Six adult women were rescued from three suspected illicit massage businesses in Bexar County, Texas, following a human trafficking investigation led by the Department of Public Safety. The operations took place in the Live Oak and Universal City areas, situated near Randolph Air Force Base, where agents executed search warrants on October 22.

The six victims, who ranged in age from their late 30s to their 50s, were identified by Criminal Investigations Division special agents. Investigators noted that the businesses displayed multiple indicators consistent with human trafficking and involved suspected unlawful activity. No arrests have been made at this time.

The Department of Public Safety stated that it employs a victim-centered approach in such investigations. This method prioritizes the identification, recovery, safety, and stabilization of victims while simultaneously investigating and prosecuting suspected traffickers. Once a victim is identified, the department connects them with critical services intended to prevent further victimization.

The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities said no additional information is currently available to the public. Officials urged anyone with knowledge of suspected businesses or possible human trafficking activity in Texas to report it. They also advised calling 911 immediately if signs of trafficking are observed, asking residents to provide as many details as possible.
