The Weeknd has set a new benchmark for male artists in live music. His "After Hours Til Dawn" stadium tour concluded in Kuala Lumpur with a total gross exceeding $1.3 billion. The final performance took place at TM Stadium National on November 5, 2026, bringing the multi-year project to a close.
Tour promoter Live Nation confirmed the financial figures. This total places the tour as the third-highest grossing in history. Only Taylor Swift’s "Eras" tour and Coldplay’s "Music of the Spheres" have generated more revenue. Swift’s run crossed the $2 billion threshold, while Coldplay surpassed $1.5 billion. The previous record for a male performer belonged to Elton John, whose "Farewell Yellow Brick Road" tour earned over $939 million.
The final Asian leg of the tour featured 17 dates. The schedule expanded from the original announcement of 11 stops. The Weeknd performed three nights in Bangkok and four nights in Hong Kong. He also played multiple shows in every other market on the itinerary. This fall’s run marked the end of a global circuit that began in July 2022.
Over four years, the tour visited 176 venues across 67 cities. It covered 30 countries and five continents. More than 9 million tickets were sold during the entire run. In 2026 alone, the tour generated over $500 million in revenue. The 2026 dates accounted for more than 3 million tickets sold.
The Weeknd allocated a portion of the earnings to charitable causes. He donated $8.5 million to the XO Humanitarian Fund and Global Citizen. These contributions support global hunger relief and education access for children. In the current year, $3 million was raised specifically for the United Nations World Food Programme and Global Citizen.
The 2026 donation to Global Citizen supports a new initiative. This campaign focuses on removing barriers for women and girls in health, education, and economic opportunity. The funds were collected alongside the tour’s final performances in Asia.
